The following statement (the “Privacy Policy”) discloses the guidelines Dynamic5 AB ("Dynamic5", "We", "Us") has established for protecting the information you provide to Dynamic5 during your use of the JaBIT application (the "Application").

What data we collect

The Application mainly collects and stores three types of data:

1. Data from health related sensors and monitors connected to your mobile device, including but not limited to heart rate monitors, power sensors and cadence sensors.
2. Information about such sensors in the vicinity of your mobile device, even if they are not connected.
3. Song information (including, but not limited to, song name, artist name and song duration) for local media files and/or online YouTube videos.

The Application also uses some third party components that may collect data, please see "Third party Services" below.

Why is the data collected

1. The collection and recording of current heart rate, power and cadence is one of the key features of the Application, allowing you to see your current values during a workout and also analyze your results after a workout has been completed.
2. Information about nearby sensors is collected to give you an opportunity to connect to them, as well as store you presets for automatic connection in the future.
3. Song information is stored to synchronize automatic playback of songs and videos to your workout intervals.

Where is the data stored

The data is stored locally, on your device (unless you share it yourself with third parties, see below).

With whom do we share the data

Dynamic5 will not share your personal information with third parties without your consent, unless Dynamic5 is required to do so by law or Dynamic5 finds that you are in breach of its terms and conditions or any of its policies or usage guidelines for specific products or services.

Payment processing and updates

The Application uses Google Play to handle installation, updates and payments, so it never directly deals with financial transactions. Please review the Google Privacy Policy at https://www.google.com/policies/privacy/ for more information about what data is collected and transmitted during these processes.

Backup

Depending on your device settings all data stored by the Application may be backed up by your backup agent. What data is backed up and how that data is treated is controlled by the backup agent's privacy policy and is beyond the control of the Application.

Third party Services

The Application uses Google AdMob to serve ads (for non-premium users).

Google AdMob uses the Android Advertising ID to serve ads that are targeted to users and to track statistics etc. Users in the European Union will be asked for consent to show ads in accordance to the GDPR privacy law, but please note that declining this will disable the main functionalities in the app. If you have previously given your consent to ads and want to revoke that consent, you can do so from application settings.

Users can optionally opt-in to anonymous usage collection using Firebase Analytics. Firebase Analytics is a mobile analytics service provided by Google and governed by the Firebase Analytics terms of service. This service helps Us understand our users and how they use the Application. Firebase Analytics uses the Android Advertising ID, and we will collect the AAID to understand our users. Premium users of The Application can choose to upload workouts to Strava and Google Fit. You will be asked for permission before doing so. That data will then be governed by their respective privacy policies. Note that deleting data from your local device will not automatically delete data shared with third parties.

The Application uses YouTube's services in the following ways:

1. YouTube videos are selected using an embedded web browser view, showing the main YouTube site.
2. Information about YouTube videos is downloaded using the YouTube API Services.
3. YouTube videos played during a workout use a YouTube player embedded in a web browser view.

This means that you may be served third party content, including advertisements. It also means that data may be collected, stored or accessed on or from your device using cookies or similar technology. You should carefully review security/privacy policies of any third party sites and services that may be accessible from the Application. Other sites accessible through the Application have their own policies and data collection, use, and disclosure practices. Please consult each site’s policies and practice. Dynamic5 is not responsible for the policies or practices of third parties. The information practices of those sites and services linked from the Application are not covered by this Privacy Policy. These other sites may send their own cookies to users, collect data, or solicit personal information.

Deletion of data

When you uninstall the Application all local data will be removed.

Changes

This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time for any reason. We will notify you of any changes to our Privacy Policy by posting the new Privacy Policy at  http://www.dynamic5.com/jabit/privacy.html. You are advised to consult this Privacy Policy regularly for any changes, as continued use is deemed approval of all changes.
